Elon Musk is in talks with Apple over Starlink satellite connectivity, but for the iPhone 14 it went with the competing satellite service provider Globalstar. Under the terms of the agreement, Apple will front Globalstar 95% of the money needed for new satellites that support its Emergency SOS service.
