Intel has announced that its Foundry Services have been chosen by MediaTek as a new chip supplier. The decision help the latter expand its portfolio of processors for the internet of things (IoT) market, as well as make sure it has stock of those new chips to sell. This, according to MediaTek, will help it stay in its current industry-leading position in general.
