The devs got greedy and tried to make a Vanced NFT, that's what caused this. Luckily the app still works for now.

pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube

and then simply use Firefox with uorigin on mobile.

Expected, but very sad about this, the only decent way to use SponsorBlock on mobile (the extension that helps skip sponsored ads within the video itself). Youtube Premium only removes Youtube's own ads.

Google has forced YouTube Vanced to end, just over four years after the service started. Reputedly, Google threatened YouTube Vanced with a cease and desist, and asked it to remove all references to YouTube. Existing YouTube Vanced installations will not be affected, though.
