My company has run into this situation  a few times. Some we worked out others we made a deal with owners.

Some Dell owners have stated that their devices are having major boot problems after installing the latest BIOS updates. Particular models of Alienware, Inspiron and Latitude systems are affected. Many devices are displaying bluescreens and other errors.
