Intel has officially introduced its AI-based supersampling technology and it's called XeSS. XeSS uses AI to take frame data and upscale it in a manner that looks similar to what Nvidia current does with DLSS 2.0 and initial results seem quite impressive. XeSS can work with XMX instructions in Xe-HPG Alchemist or leverage DP4a in competitor GPUs as well.
