The article glaringly ignores that the pirate version also has events and models missing in the game.

Here's an idea to replace DRMs: every time you want to play a game, a cop will show up at your house and demand a proof of purchase. Boom! No more dropped framerates.

Or just refuse to buy games from companies that impose stupid DRM schemes. If you make good games, people will buy them. And there are plenty of great games around, waiting to be played.

In a perfect world, honest customers should not be bothered by DRM mechanisms that silently run in the background while playing a game.
