This looks like a wonderful device for education needs. The Mediatek chipset looks good and the battery backup is the highlight in the device.

I would say I was really impressed with this Chromebook's performance. The mediatek chip is quite good and it's a sturdy device overall

The Spin 311 offers an IPS touchscreen display, silent operation, and long battery runtimes. Acer relies on an ARM processor for the Chromebook convertible. The total package is available for about 260 Euros (~$260) at the time of testing.
