Wear OS might be a no-brainer for consumers choosing a smartwatch to go with their Android phone - or rather, it should be. The wearables platform still has many potentially frustrating limitations, one of which is the inability to set tiles for non-Google or OEM apps. However, the Mountain View giant has announced a solution for this issue is now in alpha.
