The only reason I can see is Samsung is planning to A72 5G with a different chip which is a good thing

The Galaxy A72 has leaked in full, following the outing of the Galaxy A52 4G and Galaxy A52 5G earlier this week. The successor to the Galaxy A71 will have a 90 Hz display, a Snapdragon 720G SoC and a 5,000 mAh battery, among other features.
