The article says "Unfortunately, there is frequent, noticeable electronic noise that comes from the inside of the case."   

This seems really significant and I have never heard of such a thing before, certainly not using an SSD - did you contact Acer about it?  That seems likely to be pretty disruptive in use, can you provide more details?

6,000 EUR, 5-kilogram "laptop" with <1 hour under load - very specific niche. And craves for the new Ryzen to further increase the power / reduce the wattage.

Acer's 17.3-inch workstation shines with a lot of performance, a 4K touchscreen display with an included Wacom stylus and a Thunderbolt 3 port. The configuration is excellent otherwise as well: 32 GB of RAM, 16 GB of VRAM, NVMe SSD (1 TB).
