Das Jahr 2021 startet für das von Huawei abgespaltene Honor-Team gleich am 18. Januar mit der Fortführung der V-Flaggschiff-Serie. Ohne Kirin-SoC aber mit Qualcomm- oder MediaTek-Chips sowie vermutlich wieder mit Google-Services könnte Xiaomi und Co. 2021 viel Gegenwind entgegen blasen, das Honor V40 dürfte international als Honor View 40 starten.
