btw guys, for what u need 20xx cards on 1920 x 1080 ?RTX is overshot it laptops . Textures on this resolution need max4k VRAM, so for budget gamers 1650TI is enough. On this resolution in DOOM eternal 1660ti run 150 fps. its 2,5x more then needed
It's not like that, Doom doesn't need good gpu, when uou buy smth you buy to use that laptop for min 2 years, so new games will come which will require more powerful gpu.
For example Shadow of tombrider or Witcher at 1920 ultra: 1650---33fps min and 54 avg. With 1660ti---60min and 75 fps avg.
Why to gave a gaming laptop if you don't have a min of 60-70 fps. And also if you have a refresh rate of 144 you need a gpu ti give you that frames in games. Otherwise is just useless.
RTX2060 mobile in games u mentioned have  same FPS as 1660 TI . The Witcher 3-58,5fps   / Shadow of the Tomb Raider 74,5
In many games 1660Ti run beter then 2060 so why to pay 100$ more for equal cards?
If you wonder how is it posible. 2060 (TU106)has huge Die Size 445 mm². Design is pure fail! data transfer around such big die generate too much issues. So they reduced  Base Clock to 960 MHz.  1660Ti(TU116) have Die Size 284 mm² and runs on Base Clock 1455 MHz. That is ~ 50% faster.
If u want something beter then 1660Ti, wait for 2060 Super Mobile announced on 10th april to fight radeon 5600m. Or wait for RDNA2

If you check this config on psref (Lenovo Legion 5-15ARH05), you'll see that they ALL have max GTX 1650 Ti.
So no RTX? WTF Lenovo?

Waaaw from PSREF ALL of them (AMD and INTEL) maxed out at 1650Ti.

Lets wait for the product actual release. If lenovo manages to release the legion 5 amd+2060, it might be one of the best laptop of the year.

Haha, yes on the press pdf is written black on white on Amd it has 2060 gpu, and an interesting Display
15.6" FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS
(144 Hz / <3 ms Response Time /
100% sRGB / 300 nits / VESA
DisplayHDR 400 Certified /
Dolby Vision™ Enabled).
This display and specs should make the Legion 5 the best laptop with Amd atm.

Hi guys,

There was a flub in the press material from the manufacturer. We can confirm from both Lenovo and AMD that the starting price of the Legion 5 will be $759 and not $849 as previously stated. This makes a lot more sense now considering the GPU and display options involved between the AMD and Intel SKUs.

We can all lower those pitchforks now :)
Than you should change the title of the article now that you have all the right data. Otherwise your article title is misleading readers and is a lie.

Well editor must check brochure from Lenovo
OF COURSE Legion 5i WILL BE CHEAPER because of GTX 1650 as the MINIMUM GPU offered whereas GPU in Legion 5 is only GTX 2060

f*** incel for causing the companies to pair AMD renoir with screens that only Hitler produces. (the 60Hz and 120Hz screens, if either of them have the Nazi-Worthy 66% sRGB)

f*** lenovo for sticking low end GPUs with AMD cpus

f*** Asus for ruining the 144 Hz screen with one that only hitler can ever produce (66% sRGB, high response time)

5600, 5700? what happened with 5500? "launched" in october 2019. half a year has passed. appeared in macbooks, trash msi alpha and thats it.
and no launch dates for 5600/5700 still.
makes you think oems are not that evil, just amd management is retarded.
Amd 5600m will come these months in the G5 Dell with Amd cpu. Probably it will be the best bang for buck, it's bad that Lenovo won't include 5600-5700m in their gaming laptops and is pairing the Amd cpus only with low-mid gpus.
Indeed I don't understand why they don't use also 5500m, is better than 1650 and slower than 1660ti. Probably of contracts with nvidia for so many years to use their gpus in mid-high laptops.
