Great performance from the AMD Ryzen 7 4800U - getting dangerously close to a 45W Ryzen 7 4800H, but the lack of 32GB and rather hard, low travel keyboard make it unsuitable as a serious workhorse.

Fingers crossed there'll be a 32GB version with more ThinkPad-like keyboard or better: a X1 Extreme/P1/T15g with Ryzen 9 5900HS (35W).

The Intel version of the IdeaPad Slim 7 may not be as fast as the AMD version, but it makes up for this with Thunderbolt 3 support should users want to connect GPU docking stations. Users on the lookout for an upper mid-range Ultrabook will find a lot to like about this Lenovo.
