People is getting a machine capable of outputing 4k w/ RT @ 30fps for 499 (digital version) and they still complain. This is a remarkable achievement.

I'm a PC guy, but there's no way to build a PC with 499usd and get these kind of performance.

The matter of the fact is you can still get a PC and play at 60fps for 500. You can mod and not worry about paying a stupid monthly subscription to get online. It's pathetic to advertise at 60 or 120fps and lock most games to 30. To consider 30fps as "smooth" is a joke. It's nauseating after playing at 60fps. Skip this gimmicks and get a PC already...that's all they ever try to catch up with anyway.

This is sad honestly I'm not sure what's going on but this is either going to end in a lot of regret for people's purchase. Or they rushed the game so much they didn't have time to optimize it but honestly it shouldn't take that much effort to do it so I doubt it. Xbox will be the true next gen machine sorry not sorry.

What about 1080p 60 with ray tracing?

What? First they advertise NEW NEXT GEN CONSOLE! 4K! RAY TRACING! 60 OR EVEN 120 FPS!

and now it's "you can choose one of the above".

Very underwhelming.

The upcoming action game Spider-Man: Miles Morales offers future PlayStation 5 owners the choice to play at either 30 fps and enjoy the ray-tracing effects throughout the title or at 60 fps with reduced graphics output. Various PS5 gameplay comparison videos have been helping gamers resolve this fps-related quandary.
