Someone has the ability, and took the time, to put together a well made graphic of a total fallacy. I own the original PS4 pro, its quiet and was noted to be significantly less noisy than the original PS4 by reputable news outlets when first released before this whole "I'm going to create obvious bullshit for reactions" phase of the internet became something of a bloodsport to people.

Can someone explain to these people that nobody is keeping track of this and they're degrading their image by doing so for absolutely no purposeful endeavor?

Efforts like these are a net zero in the long haul. Nobody will actually believe this. Some may pretend to, like an angry Xbox fan that can't be bothered to believe that both consoles are fantastic in their own right and absolutely needs bullshit to help them sleep at night as if a console purchase means anything in the real world besides who you have access to playing a god damn video game with (and slowly but surely, even this is becoming less of a point with cross platform support).

They got ~5 minutes of my time. I guess, pathetically, this means something to this type of person. The internet troll thrives on the ideation that their time invested in bullshit creation and peddling can garner enough reactions to outweigh what they put in.

All 4k games and anything allegedly running at above 60hz is a lie created by the illuminati that you all wasted your money on and I can prove it with math. X²=X x X so obviously 1080p gaming at 60hz is the theoretical maximum afforded by the plank constant and if you try to prove me wrong, I'll have you know I'm a physics professor at Cambridge and the head of Asus' gaming monitor division. High resolution and high refresh rate gaming is a psychological trick, you read a number in the top corner of your game and believe it so your brain confirms it for you. Confirmation bias, a well documented psychological phenomenon that you can look up on Wikipedia. You have to though, I won't bother linking it and you won't wonder why because you're mad. Btw my doctoral minor was in psychology and I'm a descendant and protege of Friedrich Nietzsche so I clearly know better than you.

This 'news' is silly much like that "PlayStation 5 will be beaten by the Xbox Series S in both frame rate and ray tracing according to unconvincing claim" after this.
Please gives us quality coverage not some clickbait and "unconvincing" jokes.

But it's not so bad - just that when blind are close everyone in the room thinks a heavy shower must be pouring down outside - it even adds to the atmosphere when playing The Last of Us.
