Microsoft? Android? Nah, Microsoft have to swallow in its own pride. The irony is, only thing that holds back the surface duo is the windows os itself. No one bothers to create apps for that dying OS. Let's face it: the only reason why windows os is still alive because: to run legacy apps and peripherals that were made only to run on that os and playing games that aren't available yet in neither Android or Linux/GNU. That's all.
Surface Duo is running Android 10. Not Windows. And it's not just legacy software. There are plenty of companies that show little interest in supporting anything other than Windows for their desktop products. Even going forward. Windows are well established in the enterprise world. Take laptops. Most manufacturers don't officially support Linux and getting everything working properly can be a struggle. Not to mention getting a good battery life.

This is pretty much a pixel but with a microsoft logo. I don't get why microsoft is trying to compete in a market which they have only 1 product.

Like the design of the Surface Duo but put off by its buggy software and excruciating price? Well, how about the Surface Solo, a concept by industrial designer Jonas Daehnert? The Surface Solo takes the design of the Surface Duo and reworks into a simple, yet stylish, conventional smartphone.
