Intel has evidently slashed prices on a range of its 9th generation Coffee Lake CPUs, from the 8-core 16-thread Core i9-9900K down to the hexacore Core i5-9600K. The timing of the price cuts is interesting, since AMD is positioned to release its Zen 3-based Ryzen 4000 processors soon.
