Plus a gamer rig with a 256GB SSD is a joke heck Vermintide is like a 90 gig download off steam.  A gamer rig that can play what three games then your out of disk memory?

So it's $600 more than comparable laptops just because it has a good "gamer" video board built in?  Someone needs to invent a laptop with an easily upgraded video board?  Right?  I mean seriously loads of good laptops to be had in the $500 and under range.  Every one of them is awesome except for high end graphic intensive games.  The rest of the differences are always in the ram and cpu speeds more or less.  Things we can often upgrade easily enough but not the graphics.

£1035 is more like $1200 right now, and was more like $1300 or $1400 last year when the pound was stronger. So not really the same price mate

I got better config (512 NVME SSD) otherwise essentially same (same cpu, gpu, ram, 144hz FHD IPS) for same money last Autumn in HP OMEN. So basically nothing exciting. £1035 was the price.

The 2019 Blade 15 Base Model is now the cheapest it's ever been. You might want to have a secondary 2.5-inch SATA III drive or external drive ready though because the primary 256 GB SSD is going to fill up fast.
