Well the supposed release day April 3rd didn't happen. It's 15th May and the laptop is still in 'coming soon' status everywhere and no word on availability... the only article I found is this...

Overpriced as usual.
No AMD GPU's to choose from.
Asus also has highly questionable cooling implementation with ridiculously high noise.
Not buying anything from Asus as the last laptop I got from them was a full AMD one and Asus completely botched the cooling assembly on it and charged £1500 for it.
name the better manufacturer, just curious. who has better prices and cooling/noise?

If it's true the starting price is <$1000 then it make sense. But (according to this article) $1200? Not at all.
1100 for 16/512. -100 for 8, -100 for 256. 900. switzerland. 800 is the cheapest countries. now it looks better?
QuoteAnd this is AMD we're talking about, not intel
exactly. zen 2 is better than any intel offerings.
Quoteand this is TUF lineup, not ROG
tuf's matketing is best bang for the buck. so we can be quite sure about it.
QuoteIf they want to sell this for $1200 then it should be at least comes with 4600HS.
4600h~4600hs. same 6/12.
QuoteNot to mention it only comes with 1650 lmao
1650-1660ti for 17 inch tufs, 1650-2600 for 15 inch.

Hum 1650 is to weak 1660 minimum for me but if its with thunderbolt 3 it might be okey.

thought i want a 360 hinge, 14 inch max, thunder bolt 3, usb c charging (2 port total.

Had hoped for new gpu tech and cheaper prices but this is same old standard at similar prices. true cpu might be better but we will see.

Good Lord.. $1200 for R5 and 1650?? ASUS what're you smoking? This is TUF lineup that supposedly affordable, and where's the 1660 Ti variant?
starting price is below 1000usd. r5 is a 9750h territory. how many laptops below 1000usd with 9750h do you know?
1660ti? sure. this question is also very strange.

Still, I'll be looking forward for the actual price. Hope it'll be worth the money :)

I don't think it's overpriced considering the prices of intel based laptops with half the number of cores and 4-5 times the number of vulnerabilities 😂

Honest to god ASUS just knows how to boil peoples nerves. Whats the point of purchasing the new laptops if the older ones are far cheaper and providing the same stuff, I mean the mid-range one is absolute Crap a 1650 with a Ryzen 5 ?!?! Really ASUS, might as well drink my own p*** at this point waiting for them to actually nail a proper price on a laptop that's worth it.

Look at the previous TUF's right now on amazon prime Canada, you can grab the  Ryzen 7-3750 (older gen) with an RTX 2060 for $1600 CAD. now you're giving us a processor that's (Supposedly) better on Power consumption, but your charging us an entire overhaul of $500 extra just because it has double the cores and threads, doesn't make sense at all. judging by the comments as well the power consumption of the 4800 was a sham as well as it's displaying 45W instead of 15W. Honestly there's just no point of beleiving the whole, (oh we want a mid range laptop for gamers who are on a budget) that's BS, if i wanted to crank 2 Grand on something I would've gotten a buffed up GS65 or 75, or even a used AERO online. smfh ASUS if you're reading this, both you and AMD can kiss my a** with your promised prices and dates.

Thank You and God Bless
