i have the current generation and i have 1060Ti 6GB, i7 8750H and i wanted to go to Ryzen 4800H but they are stupid! the best laptop in terms on ports location, keyboard, ips 144hz, general performance and price, and they are giving us now just 1650ti? wtf LEVONO! why you give the more powerful GPUs to the weakest CPUs? whats wrong with you OEMs? how much Intel is paying you? you will not SALE!

(www)lenovo.com/sg/en/laptops/legion/legion-5-series/Lenovo-Legion-5-15ARH05/p/88GMY501444

Well, this link does certainly suggest presence of upto RTX 2060. See the specs section, I am hyped up!
The benchmarks video are out for the Ryzen 7 4800H. And boy does it crush Intel. Compared to i7 10875H, it is slightly behind in single core (around 10% I believe in scenarios which are completely single thread dependent) while more than 30% faster in multicore. Adding to that, the Intel one is targeted at a higher tier so it makes no sense.
If logic makes any sense, AMD laptops should definitely be paired with more than satisfactory GPU and configurations.

These model names corresponds to Y7000/Y7000p (15IMH05/15IMH05H) and R7000/R7000p(15ARH05/15ARH05H) in Chinese market, there would be 4800h+1660Ti/2060 versions, but the release time of these models (1660Ti/2060 version of R7000 and whole R7000p series) has not been decided yet.

Ryzen laptops will come, just be patient and wait slightly longer. As far as I can see, most tech consumers will not buy anything that was not from AMD. The sentiment online is strong, for example, the new Lenovo Ideapad 5 with Ryzen 4000 cpu is an instant best seller. If marketing and supply chain control is the only thing Intel can pull right now, they will lose even more consumers in the near future.

Well it's not like that, let's say now on the stock market 1 amd share is 57$ and total amd cap is 66 billions.
If they have success with playstation and xbox , 1 share amd will skyrocket and  increase the valut on the stock market. Also probably they have a profit of about 7-12% for every cpu\gpu sold to xbox.
So than Amd will have much money to decelop better cpu/gpus and better drivers. Also pay theit debt. Slowly slowly.
forget about shares, look at the market shares.
consumers does not care about how much shares cost, they need products.

Similarly in asus website when you look at the feature page of tuf A15. It mentions upto ryzen 9 4900H. Yet no model with that processor is available now.

What is everyone arguing about? 5600M and 5700M are coming in 2020H1 as part of Navi10. Which means any time from now till end of June. There is no delay so far.

QuoteUnfortunately AMD has to deliver the gpus to Playstation and Xbox so almost their entire capacity production of gpus goes there and that's why not seeing 5600-5700m in laptops
This is not true. GPUs and Console chips are 3 different kind of chips...
Well, who builds their cpus/gpus? TSMC. if their entire line of production 7nm is full on making those gpus for Console, than not free space for mobile gpus. Pretty simple.

lisa su strikes again. no profit, no production. just waste of resources, developing and engineering the non-existing things.

They don't want to supply OEMs with their higher end GPUs for the Ryzen builds.
sounds against any logic.

It seems there is a backlash regarding AMD from OEMs. People have to be blind not to see this, some say ohh OEMs didn't have time, but that is not true, AMD send samples of their cpus from Nov-Dec last year. So who are intelligent can understand why not putting full power 2060 and above with AMD cpus. And some months ago on Lenovo pdfs there were AMD with 2060 and now after there success with the cpu there won't be.
Who would buy a laptop with Intel cpu more expansive, who wants almost twice the power on full load than of amd and wich is 25-30% slower.
