After AMD's 4800H announcement any gaming laptop with intel inside just seems obsolete at this point. Where are the new 7nm based gaming laptops with AMD inside?
While I generally agree, I'll wait on the PCIe lane count, first. We already know it's PCIe 3.0, not 4.0. If it's still accessible 12 lanes, then the GPU is limited (before anyone starts complaining about how a RTX 2080Ti is the only GPU affected by lane count and quality - the much smaller AMD RX 5500 XT is affected, too. The affect is greater with Optimus and whatever AMD's version is, since framedata is contending the PCIe bus.
4 for NVMe, 4 for TB3, leaves just 4 for GPU. What happens to Ethernet, WiFi, SD card readers, LTE/5G, etc?
Either way, I hope AMD increased the lane count.
