India is now a larger smartphone market than the US according to a report by Contrapoint Research. Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo and Realme accounted for nearly 72% of the 158 million devices shipped in the country. Despite the increased popularity of Chinese devices, Samsung has still maintained its position as the second-largest smartphone brand in the country.
