Do they understand why people purchase Thinkpad at all?
To look "cool" at a coffee shop? :-X
One thing that surprised me a lot about my X1C6 (among many other aspects of this laptop) is how easy it was to disassemble. It had a few screws and actual spring-loaded "clips" holding in the bottom cover. Actual, metal springs. This was such a contrast to my old Dells, Sonys, etc which had all used plastic snaps that would easily break.
Even in the X1C6, where nearly everything is soldered in, one can still replace the 3 M.2 cards (NVMe, WiFi/BT, LTE) and even easily add in the LTE antennae (which are located in the base).
