Samsung discussed with the major South Korean carriers and is ready to launch the Galaxy Fold in early September in order to sync with the IFA expo in Berlin. Initial wave will include up to 30,000 units, but the majority is reserved for the South Korean market, and only a small fraction is supposed to ship to China and the U.S. in late September.
