Nice article. So it seems that apple is waiting that kind of glass for optimum flexibility performance, instead of going with samsung or huawei solutions, which may be a little rough. But is everyone wanting for corning to achieve these results and produce more affordable and widespread foldables or there are other technical reasons behind this waiting?

It has been reported that Corning is working on flexible glass that will be strong enough to use with foldable phones. Presently, foldable devices rely on plastic polymers because of their flexibility. However, Corning wants to eventually create a glass product that offers the useful properties of the plastic polymer screens but with the quality and hardness of glass.
