Intel has unveiled its new XMM 8160 5G modem that will soon find place in phones, PCs, and other mobile devices. Intel is launching this modem half a year earlier than the supposed launch date. The XMM 8160 can handle data throughput up to 6 Gbps and will bring support for 5GNR standalone and non-standalone modes along with legacy radio support.
