Das Wettrennen um den schnellsten Mobilprozessor wird 2019 richtig spannend, denn Qualcomm will mit dem Snapdragon 8180 aka Snapdragon 1000 als Nachfolger des Snapdragon 850 erstmals tatsächlich eine Intel-Alternative für Windows-on-ARM-Notebooks und Convertibles bieten. Auch die Transistorzahl dürfte massiv steigen.
