Zur CES 2018 hat Chuwi erstmals das neue Hi9 Air erwähnt, bei den Spezifikationen hat sich der Tablet-Hersteller damals aber noch bedeckt gehalten. Nun sind die Eckdaten bekannt: Das 10,1 Zoll-Tablet bekommt LTE-Funk und setzt auf den schon etwas älteren Helio X20-SoC von MediaTek.
