Samsung Electronics legt den Grundstein für eine neue Halbleiter-EUV-Fertigungslinie im südkoreanischen Hwaseong. Der Bau wird voraussichtlich im zweiten Halbjahr 2019 fertiggestellt und 2020 die Produktion aufnehmen. Laut derzeitiger Planung wird Samsung anfangs bis zu 6 Milliarden US-Dollar in das neue Werk investierten.
