Das Nec LaVie Z 2014 (Haswell) wiegt bei 13,3 Zoll nur 780 Gramm (Magnesium-Lithium).

Xiaomi plant für 2017 offenbar ein ultraleichtes Notebook-Modell. Die Nachfolger der aktuellen Mi Notebook Air-Generation sollen dank Magnesium-Lithium-Chassis noch mal deutlich an Gewicht verlieren.
