Did you check backlight bleeding. LG panels sometimes have very pronounced bleeding.

It also seems from the photos that it is catching a lot of dirt.

Everything is new. Dell's new entry-level business device comes with a matte IPS display, long battery runtimes and a large maintenance hatch. Priced at almost 900 Euros, it is not a cheap system though.
