Nach der Professional Optical Disc haben jetzt Sony und Panasonic als professionelles Archivierungsmedium die sogenannte Archival Disc angekündigt. Die optischen Scheiben sollen zunächst 300 GByte fassen später, das Ziel sind 1 TByte.
