Intel hat auf dem IDF 2012 die Marschroute für die künftige Entwicklung seiner Prozessoren angekündigt. Ende 2013 will Intel die Entwicklung seiner 14-nm-Fertigung abgeschlossen haben und mit der Entwicklung und Forschung für Strukturen von 10 Nanometern und darunter fortfahren.
