Fully agreed. The UK already pushed back the ban of new ICE back by another 5 years because we simply aren't there yet infrastructure wise. Considering the state of our infrastructure and lack of investnment it will probably get pushed back a few more years by the time the new deadline comes close.

At least Toyota realizes that the entire world will not be converting to EV's exclusively anytime soon. I mean you have parts of the world that certainly lack any infrastructure to support EV's. Even industrial nations have mostly acknowledged that it will take a lot more effort and time to address that.
