Philips has launched the 5000 series Smart Deadbolt, which is now available in the US. Shown at CES 2024 and said to be the first device of its kind, the smart lock offers palm recognition unlocking alongside other methods like a PIN code or voice commands. The product also offers a doorbell feature and has a built-in Wi-Fi module.
