You don't have to believe that I have an adblocker installed just to block ads on NBC - Opera has one built-in, by the way. The truth - believe it or not - is that I do not use Opera to check out any website that involves reading news or other articles supported by ads. I mainly use Maxthon for that goal, and on that one I block ads on some websites and allow them to load on others.
I hope now you got the whole point. I simply did not get into it deep enough. I publish on NBC, so it's logical to take a screenshot with NBC loaded in the browser, right? In the end, the discussion should be about Opera, not about when, how, and why I am blocking ads. P.S. I sometimes pay for journalism that I deem to be worthy of it. Do you support at least one news website/journal that is only available to subscribers? Would you rather have NBC — and other websites that use ads and display that support message when ad blocking is detected — go ad-free and only available for a monthly fee of ... let's say, 2 USD?
