Not much more powerful. The powerful hardware upgrade of Acer's Nitro series is appealing on paper. Although, the performance did not improve in the synthetic benchmarks, gamers might appreciate more fps and a higher display contrast.

Gigabit Ethernet that runs at 10/100Mbit? I have a Dell 5520 that has the same thing, what the hell on a decent i7 laptop, why with a newer chipset isn't it running 1gigbit network?
