Asus: Offizielle Produktfotos des G74 Gaming-Notebooks veröffentlicht

Mit dem G74 Gaming-Notebook schickt das taiwanische Unternehmen Asus einen neuen 17-Zoll-Boliden ins Rennen. Über die eigene Facebook-Fanpage wurden nun die ersten offiziellen Produktfotos veröffentlicht.

Ja klar, aber die Daten sind recht bescheiden. Notebook.de/Blog hat da mehr Infos zur A1 (USA Bezeichnung) des G74SX.

This is the first time I've ever seen a notebook here for pre-ordering with an unknown Graphics Card.

Also schön zu lesen, denn wenn das MSI GT780R kommt ist das ASUS G74SX nicht weit, also Ende Mai oder anfang Juni ist es so weit und alle Books mit GTX 560M sind zu sehen oder verfügbar.

Sagt natürlich nichts über den Release Termin aus, macht aber noch längere Zähne.

Noch einen Hinweis zum Release Date direkt von Asus gefunden:

"ASUS REPUBLIC OF GAMERS: The launch date of G74 varies by each country, but it should be available from June – July onwards. Once when the spec is finalized, we will let you know. Alternatively why not check it out during the 2011 Computex in person?"

Das klingt ja gar nicht schlecht, aber für uns in Europa heißt das wahrscheinlich Juli und erstmal in einer schrottigen Ausstattungsvariante wie immer und ab September gäbe es dann das erste vernünftige Teil zu einem $=EURO Kurs...
