The advantage of AMD APUs is that they consume less energy, heat up less and can be used in very thin laptops and tablets, something impossible if you have a dedicated RTX 5000.
What AMD has achieved with Strix Halo are products that many users (99%) and we who are not gamers) have been waiting for; for 5 years, maximum CPU+iGPU performance in the smallest space. Now we just need to know the price.

However real (or NOT!!) the Strix Halo performance leaks are, the industry as a whole has been waiting for DECADES for the included GPU abilities to be more useful then for mere 'office applications'.

With Team Red pushing the envelope of what is possible, team Blue is no longer ignoring the iGPU's in their APU's thus the resulting competition is surely improving the market for consumers!!

Will the Strix Halo iGPU ACTUALLY 'trade blows' with a 4060m? Very doubtful however having competition in this space is always a good thing for us consumers.

Frankly, I'll believe it when I see it.

(much like the PS5-Pro trading blows with a 4070m)
