So exactly how helpful (or NOT!) is news like this?

While surprising nobody, "Windows" it seems has "vulnerabilities" that can be exploited somehow - better patch soon! LOL!!!

Given the quagmire of spaghetti code that is "Windows" it would be more helpful (rather than alarmist) to acknowledge ether or both of exactly WHAT systems/processes/programs within Windows are vulnerable and how they might be compromised.

Microsofts (and the press) seem to assume that everyone uses their computers in similar environments in similar ways which is simply not the case.

What you forgot to mention is that by announcing these vulnerabilities and MS's advice to patch and upgrade is that it allows MS to install more of their own spyware/marketing crap//code that prevents a user from bypassing things like not having a MS account and using Win10, etc. Either their or MS's spyware will get you. LOL
