A new battery endurance test has crowned the new Xiaomi 15 Pro as the best-performing device among its peers, with the Snapdragon 8 Elite phone seeing off devices like the Galaxy S24 Ultra, OnePlus 12, Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, and most impressively, the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The Xiaomi 15 Pro will probably be my next phone (if they decide to sell it in Europe, I'm not going to import it, I want my mandatory 3 year warranty).

I like it claims the Xiaomi 15 Pro dominates other phones, like the 16 Pro Max, when it has a 26% larger battery while only outlasting the iphone by 9.4%.

iPhone 16PM uses 6.93mAh/min
Xiaomi 15 Pro uses 8.21mAh/min

Looking at these numbers it's clear who the winner is.

Well, it's hardly anyone's fault that Apple chose to use a smaller battery.

While iphone has a smaller battery and still efficient, it still weighs more than 15 pro !!! Plus Xiaomi device has higher resolution compared to iphone. They should put all the phones in same setting(resolution/brightness) and test it again.

True, it's the one that outlasted the other by 9.4%, thanks for pointing out the obvious! Plus, doing that on a smaller and lighter phone just makes it an even slightly better win.

It's a shame Apple doesn't upgrade their batteries more than 5% each year, while Xiaomi got these results through upgrading their batteries to one that is 25% bigger than in the previous model, using tech that will make that battery easily last 5 years.

Sadly Apple couldn't find space inside their new model to fit a battery that is more than 5% bigger than in the previous model, while being built on 2016 technology, effectively becoming obsolete 3x faster than the battery that is on the Xiaomi device. They wouldn't do that on purpose, would they? Of course not, they are environmentally friendly, and on top of that, always try to give their loyal customers the best of the best in terms of hardware!
