This is fairly easy to explain:

- Just about EVERYONE has a "smart phone" and/or a tablet these days
- Casual 'time wasters' on mobile are popular - pick-up/sit-down easy games
- Game 'clients' or even full games can be compiled to run on mobile devices
- The REAL factor is 'microtransactions' which on mobile games can 'nickel & dime' a player to death

Amazingly, the gaming industry generated $187.7 billion in revenue this year, with mobile games accounting for $92.6 billion and the number of players growing at 4.5% per year!

49% of gaming revenue from mobile devices isn't surprising to me—just look around! Everyone's playing games on Bitlife phones, whether it's during commutes, breaks at work, or while watching TV.
