Nintendo is widely expected to unveil a new console soon, which is currently presumed to be called the Nintendo Switch 2. In the meantime, a hands-on has shown what the hybrid console could look like compared to popular examples like the Switch OLED and the Steam Deck, based on recent leaks that allegedly revealed the design of Nintendo's next console.

Not a huge fan of going bigger with these, it looses it's biggest treat - portability (already the og switch was big). Pocketability is out of question (besides maybe Switch Lite), but this is almost like dragging a small laptop. Would rather have something like GPD Win Mini or the 10" max variant than this...
The other disadvatage which comes with it is weight. Like all the x86 handhelds which you have to prop somehow because they are too heavy(uncomfortable) to game for longer time just holding it.. This is subjective, true, but still I would guess a big deal for more than just a small group of users..

Most tablets are around 8 in at least and they are widely used in the hands. If it were 10 in I would agree with you. For a device with its primary purpose to play games, I think this is an ideal size person only.
