Lenovo spendiert der Intel-Variante des ThinkPad P14s G5 ein komplett neues Gehäuse inklusive 3K-IPS-Panel. Ansonsten ist die mobile Workstation mit einem aktuellen Meteor-Lake-Prozessor sowie der Nvidia RTX 500 Ada ausgestattet und bietet gute Wartungsmöglichkeiten. ThinkPads waren früher mal etwas Besonderes - allerdings auch mit besonderem Preis. Dieses Gerät tut was es soll zu einem akzeptablen Preis. Den Namen ThinkPad verdient es allerdings nicht mehr ....
Die Akkulaufzeit könnte vielen potentiellen Anwendern nicht reichen. Eine automatische Umschaltung auf 60Hz im Batteriebetrieb sollte bei Geräten dieser Art eigentlich Standard sein.
