A new leak says the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 could launch with frame interpolation which essentially increases FPS by inserting frames. Furthermore, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 could get it via a future update.

New Snapdragon 8 gen 23 perform 480fps in 8k on Genshin Inpact. What's the point of developing GPUs in phones if there are NO GAMES FOR IT

Reboot

Cell phone games with their limited assets, junk textures, and their 20 year old ps3 quality graphics get a junk fsr 1.0 equivalent ai scaling. Omgz amazing.

Just make it optimize to easily run widows on android phone, no need to worry about good games then.

As of now the windows emulator is very cumbersome and not for everyone, although games run fine but not all due to optimization.

Recently GTA V ran successfully on android with snapdragon 8 gen 2 and higher with 40-50fps at medium settings via windows emulation.

If possible android phone manufacturers and microsoft should enable windows on arm easily installable on Android phones so that we can have DUAL BOOT os, this will be game changer.

While Qualcomm's snapdragon 8 Gen 3 was a upgrade over 8 Gen 2 both of which are on the 4nm node process, the 8 Gen 4 on the 3nm node process will be an even bigger upgrade over 8 Gen 3. Why? Because reducing the node process size always improves efficiency and benchmark performance. And with competitors Media Tek dimensity 9400 and Apple A18 pro both on the 3nm node process this will be fierce competition and good for rising technology and consumers who want high end phones.
