Tesla has come up with a devious new tactic to comply with the latest US IRA tax incentive requirements. In order to get the full $7,500 tax incentive for both the Model Y and Model 3 Long Range AWD and Performance, Tesla has split Model Y and Model 3 cell production. Buyers eligible for the IRA tax incentive end up with a more expensive battery pack.

This article implies that Tesla is skirting the rules and doing something nefarious, when in reality they just have an intelligent inventory allocation management system, that maximizes the benefit to the consumer.

Obvious that the writer has submitting against Tesla. Instead of showing that Tesla has brought more US made batteries and production to the US so it's eligible to offer yet another car eligible the tax credit, you instead say it's nefarious or illegal n some way. We commend the amazing work Tesla has done as the most American Made Automaker!
