Hahaha - look, a laptop for 900 euros has a TB4 (next to it is a review of the shameful D16 2024 laptop from Huawei, 1.5 times more expensive without TB4 and without a discrete card and with a shameful 16GB of soldered RAM and even without a 2-4TB SSD!), 2 memory slots , and Acer wisely installed 1 die per 16, which gives the owner an easy upgrade to 32GB.
Memory speed is good if you set the second module to 16, looking at the AIDA64 tests. Apart from latency, everything is bad.

A disgusting screen and a shameful keyboard without a full-fledged numpad - this is what makes such Acer models gather dust on store shelves around the world.

I have a feeling that Acer is hiring some kind of drug-addicted designers or villains. Because adequate people would have long ago made a classic keyboard with a full-fledged numpad on models from 15.6". Moreover, such a keyboard costs a penny compared to the price of a laptop.

Acer will continue to hang around at the bottom of the list of PC sales on the planet for these sad reasons, until investors fire the entire management and hire a new team...

I personally think this is true. And that it does not only apply for Acer, but for every laptop brand. I think there is an organisation ontop of all these brands which designs all laptops from top-end to low-end. And that they deliberately build in all kinds of flaws so that people get mad when evaluating laptops.

I don't completely agree. In my opinion numpads are obsolete for most users. However I think laptops should have a standardized keyboard just without numpad. The HP Omen 16" models actually have such a keyboard: standard layout, but without the numpad. That would be better than the cramped compact keyboard layouts.
