Chinese juggernaut BYD is bigger than Tesla now as it moved more electric vehicles to customers than Elon Musk's pride and joy. It is also branching out globally and building its first EV factory in Europe to  take on Tesla's Giga Berlin.

BYD is currently scouting Mexico for an battery/assembly site.
