The Xiaomi Redmi A2 is available on the Internet for well under 100 Euros. What can you expect from such a cheap smartphone? After all, the manufacturer promises regular updates and long runtimes. We take a closer look at the entry-level phone in our review.

Come on, why are some people continuously complaining about micro USB, does it really matter that much? It seems like it's some kind of a fashion among the reviewers.

You can't use the ubiquous USB-C. I had to consider a cheap smartphone buy recently and that was one of no go zones.

Come on, microUSB doesn't support faster charging, transfer speeds, was more prone to breaking (haven't had a single usb-c port break on me), you need to watch which side are you putting it in, more and more accessories are now supporting only usb-c (laptops, chargers, etc.) and overall, it is now easier to find usb-c cable (or someone with one) than microUSB (at least in Europe).
