Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 rumoured to be in line for Wear OS 3 upgrade

According to conflicting reports, Mobvoi may upgrade all its Snapdragon Wear 4100-based smartwatches to Wear OS 3, TicWatch Pro 3 included. Previously, the company outlined that only the TicWatch E3 and TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra would receive a major OS update, albeit not until towards the end of 2023.

Mobvoi is a crap company, nothing different from random chinese crap you can find on Aliexpress. For me it's the last watch I bought from them.

In my perspective, I still think that since October 2022, mobvoi suffered from major changes in terms of company structure. Something happened. There way of approaching the client was a difference from day to night. They where at the right path, until they refused to talk with the customers just to give feedback. I think any of us would understand that they can be delayed or they have to focus in other products due to their "company size", but a total "black out" was totally unexpected. So, now they are launching a new product without conquering the old clients, this is "a nail in the coffin".

I purchased the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS about a year ago, on the understanding that it was going to receive the OS 3 update soon, sometime in 2022, it is now April 2023, and still no sign of it.

Another reason I purchased the watch was it said in the sales description that it was possible to make and receive phone calls, this would help when it is inconvenient to get to my phone, this is so hit and miss, most of the time it's miss, and it says to take the call on my phone, so basically useless.

Another down side are notifications, I send and receive a lot of messages on a popular messaging apo, this has stopped working, I go to settings, notifications, and and then to the app, the setting is on for notifications. Also my emails only work some of the time, it seems to have a mind of its own.

I have factory reset this watch several times hoping it would fix the problems, but it hasn't.

As for customer support, they have been no help at all, the replies just seem to be automated, and after several emails I gave up.

Now the question, would I buy another watch from Mobvoi, no, never, I feel I wasted my money.
